Mayor Daniel Pearl, Deputy Mayor Tina Schiaffino, Trustees Dana Durso, Todd Svec and Christine Wiss joined with the Town of Oyster Bay and Nassau County to host a parade and ceremony to honor the Massapequa International Little League Softball 12U Team who won the 2023 Little League World Series. This was the first team in New York State history to win the Little League Softball World Series!
Pictured here with Mayor Pearl and the Board of Trustees are the members of the 2023 Softball World Series Championship Team: Emma Brown, Sienna Erker, Olivia Feldman, Alexis Fontana, Abigail Long, Kylie Longaro, Emmerson Moore, Ava Rios, Cassie Van Schuyler, Eden Tesoriere, Jocelyn Vandenberg, and Mia Victor.
