PARK WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC
BUT THE SHOW WILL GO ON
“As the CDC, DOH and Governor’s guidelines, regulations and restrictions have changed and continue to change, the Village Board and I have continued to have discussions regarding how to provide services to our residents, while at the same time adhering health and safety guidelines.
Once the guidelines changed the Village Board and I actively engaged with our fireworks vendor, first to see if they could produce a fireworks display and secondly how we could do it in a safe environment for all our residents.
With health and safety as the primary concern, we entered into negotiations with our fireworks vendor, so all of our village residents would be able to see the fireworks display from the comfort of their yards instead of crowding into Mansfield Park.
While the park will be closed to the public on July 1st—we believe this is the best solution to provide everyone with a firework show in celebration of our Independence!”
